Indian students’ solutions on energy issues at CoP 21

Kolkata: A team of two Indian students will get an exclusive chance to showcase ideas on local solutions to energy problems at the CoP 21 summit in Paris this year.

As part of the 'Climate Youth Summit' initiative by the National Council of Science Museum, students from India schools will compete to develop indigenous strategies.

"We will arrange for mentors and experts to guide teams of two members each. One team with the best idea will be selected to present the idea before the negotiators at CoP 21," NCSM director general G.S. Rautela told the media here.

He said students till 18 years of age can apply for the project.
