Roads in Singapore to be closed for F1 setup

Singapore: Several roads will be closed for six days here from the wee hours of September 16 to 22 to set up the infrastructure for the Singapore Grand Prix Formula One race, says a report on Tuesday.

Affected roads include Raffles Avenue, Raffles Boulevard and Connaught Drive. The roads will be reopened progressively after the Formula One race ends on September 20, reports todayonline.com.

All roads will be fully accessible by 5.30am local time on September 22.

The practice will be held on September 18, followed by the qualifying on September 19.
