New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Tuesday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should work in tandem. "The PM as well as the CM have been elected to their respective houses for the first time. They will have to strike a balance," Mahajan said at the two-day orientation program for Delhi assembly members.

Kejrwal, whose Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) defeated the Bharatiya Janata Party in the February polls, has accused Modi of interfering in the functioning of the Delhi government. In an oblique reference, she asked the AAP to desist from staging protests. "It's fine that until now you were protesting. But there is a difference between a speech given at crossroads and things spoken in the assembly," she said.
