Ceasefire violation: Civilian injured in Jammu

Jammu: A civilian was injured in firing by Pakistan army along the line of control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday.

One civilian identified as Muhammad Ashraf, son of Gul Muhammad Bheroti of Basooni village, was profusely injured in Pakistan shelling in Balakot sector on Friday. The officials reported.

"The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment," he added.

"Indiscriminate shelling and firing started from Pakistan side at 6.30 AM. And, it is still on for now. Indian Army has also started appropriate retaliation," the official said.

Earlier also there has been ceasefire violation in Balakot and Hamirpura.
