New Delhi: Aiming to promote digital literacy and e-governance technology, media brand Digit has launched a multilingual app, Tech Tips, for the rapidly growing number of smartphone users in India, a statement here said on Saturday.

Tech Tips is designed as a one-stop app, to aid all smartphone users in understanding technology in quick, easy steps and use their smartphones for multiple purposes beyond just calls, internet browsing and watching videos or listening to music.

Tech Tips is available, free of cost on Google Play and Windows marketplace.

It is available in six languages – Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and English.

"With the government planning to put governance in the palm of people, smartphone literacy will be critical to access different services. Tech Tips will ensure that language and education do not constraint the use of smartphones," Vikas Gupta, publisher, Digit said.
