New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday that India will not tolerate any terror attack and will give a "befitting response".

His comment came after four terrorists were killed an attack on the Pathankot air force base in Punjab early Saturday.

Singh said the nation looks forward to good and friendly relations with every country, including Pakistan. "Pakistan is our neighbor, we want peace, but any terror attack on India will get a befitting response," he said.

He commended the efforts of the army, saying forces were giving a "befitting response." On Saturday morning, Pathankot air base attacked. It claimed the lives of three army personnel. It is the second attack in Punjab in last three months. (IANS)
