A mobile TV app for Indian diaspora

Kochi: Come April and the Indian diaspora across the world will have movie infotainment in their hands via an easy-to-use app, Moviestaan TV, India's first exclusive mobile TV. Announcing this here in Kochi, the promoters of the novel concept said initially the mobile channel will have news and content on Malayalam movies, which will be spread in phases into Bollywood, Tamil Telugu and Kannada movies as well. In a function held here, Cine director Sibi Malayil released the logo of Moviestaan TV, which will be officially launched on April 14, 2016.

"The unique app, which is free, will cover the latest news from shooting locations, reports, trailers, songs and new launches. It will serve as a platform for launching short films too. Moviestaan TV will analyze, review and bring forth unknown facts, both 'live' and 'video on demand' formats. The endeavor is to pack in everything a movie lover would be interested in and want to know," said Ram Mohan Nair, the Founder, and CEO, OM Ventures, promoters of Moviestaan TV.
