75 Liters of Free Gasoline a Month for every Citizen in Kuwait

October 5, 2016: Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said that the legislative and executive powers agreed at a meeting on Wednesday to give every citizen holds a driving license 75 litres of a month for free.

He said Al – Ghanim said in a statement quoted by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Government informed the assembled intention to conduct a monthly review and liberalization of fuel prices by the Commission on subsidies, to be the beginning of the support 75 liters free per month for each Kuwaiti citizen have a driving license.

He explained, "that the liberalization of fuel prices in Kuwait does not mean linked to world oil prices," but as "determined by the committee subsidies on a monthly basis … which will save the state millions of dinars and reduces the cost to the citizens of good fuel consumption, which is estimated consumed per month by about 240 liters."
