Delhi Police Organise Fun Carnival at Select City Walk Mall to Promote Road Safety

The Delhi Traffic Police organised a fun carnival on road safety at Select City Walk Mall in South Delhi on Saturday. The carnival featured quiz, games and street plays.

At carnival, an awareness campaign was also organised for drivers and pedestrians. The shoppers participated in the quiz and also in the painting competition on the theme of road safety.

Amarendra Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), said, "On behalf of the Delhi Traffic Police, we urge you to drive safely and abide by traffic rules." It's estimated that 1,657 fatal road accidents took place in the city last year due to violation of road safety rules. (IANS)
